Parenting: Just a blur.

Our new home

Its been one week today since we moved into our new place. We LOVE our new home. The old walkerville charm, the central location, our nice new neighbours. 

We would love to have all of our friends and family over to celebrate our new home. And we will as soon as things have settled a little bit more, but until then. Here are some photos to tide you over (of course I’m leaving out the photos of rooms that are filled with boxes!).

Walkerville

Despite the fact that we haven’t made a post since February, there is actually a lot going on. After a long process of looking at different youth pastoring jobs for Tim throughout Ontario, we feel like God isn’t done with us in Windsor. Both of us have begin to dig some deeper roots into the city. Both of our families are close by, our home church is here and many great friends.

As of May 1st we’re moving to Walkerville! I think this is the heart of Windsor, maybe because it makes me feel like I’m back home in England with the older homes and the history. We’re really excited about our first summer in the new place. We’ll be four blocks from the Riverside, walking distance to Willistead Park and of course a two minute drive from the market! I love the market. We’ll get to be close to the festivals and the fireworks.

As soon as we move in and I get some new photos I’ll post them for friends and family to see.
